As a Customer Union dedicated to representing our members and ensuring the bank maintains its ethical commitments, we review this report carefully, raise questions with the bank, and share our observations with you.</p>

<p>Earlier this year we asked members of the Customer Union (and Save Our Bank supporters) to send in questions that they'd like us to ask the&nbsp;Co-operative Bank at our regular meeting with them in March.&nbsp;Since we met the bank, the COVID-19 crisis has significantly worsened and this has prompted some further dialogue with the bank.</p>

<p>The Customer Union for Ethical Banking (Save Our Bank campaign) is running a social media campaign aimed at recruiting Co-op Bank customers to join the union.</p>

<p>The campaign focuses on the strong and often&nbsp;courageous messages used by the bank in the past about its ethical stance - messages that went beyond just establishing the bank's ethical credentials and were political statements in their own right.</p>
